Thank you all guys It's a good effect eh Bill? Looks great under colour - the simplest technique ever....over-length rungs simply trimmed roughly to length with snips and then a couple of swipes with the sanding stick to remove burrs does the job Moved on a touch..... Realised I'd made the cabin base 5mm short so I knocked a new one up....cabin got the first details added: It would appear that the top half of the cabin is removable and is latched together with lifting eyes on the roof (yet to come).....eagle eyed viewers will note the side/door panel of the cab is not fixed, this will allow me to access the interior for painting and detailing completely before fixing windows and closing up...... Mock-up....... AC&?W

Sorry mate....nuvver question, do the jet engines have any relationship regarding water flow/pressure or simply for movement........dumb question maybe but i don`t know much about this beast and i`m quite intrigued

Mark,I would imagine that the 'injectors' work similar to the Red Arrows smoke injectors,in that the fluid/foam is injected directly into the jet exhaust, which can be controlled remotely,I assume?

Thats a good answer mate......trouble is.........i didn`t realise that was where the foam exited from!! ........i thought i was from the main monitor arm in the centre at the front

Feck me..........that sheds a whole lotta light on it now, got it That feckin` foam tank won`t last long then so i hope they gotta bulk foam tender following it When i used to do combined drills with the Airport fire service we were mainly used to supply the water side of things to allow the Airport tenders to deliver vast amounts of blanket foam thru the induction process...........a lot of the time we couldn`t keep up with the feckin` thing coz it drunk like a madman

Good session today made major in-roads...... Construction on the in-board anchor point for the jets went well this also houses the hydraulically-operated engine tilt mechanism and the ram housing..... Engines were started (not literally) using 19mm electrical conduit as the main body sheet was layered over to change diameter at the business end. The ends were furnished courtesy of Mr Academy via Monsieur Eduard with the unused kit parts from the Rockin' Rhino kit which comes with resin replacements. Although 1/48 these scaled out correctly for the 1/35 Mig donks Tilt rams got their tilt linkages and the rams got mounts including pin locking plates..... Moment of truth, everything fitted and then checked for height and alignment.....A-OK! Engines got some more basic detailing and main support arms fitted... Engine hinged and fit checked correct..... Overall..... AC&?W

I can't see owt wrong with that . I also thought of the electrical conduit for my steam engine, but I couldn't find anything fitting size wise .
