Marco, Ian, Steve, thanks! More was done to the jacket and tomorrow the highlights and deep shadows will be added. The scarf camo was fiddled a tad however this will be given a lot more attention.

Guy I am overwhelmed at your incredible mastery of such realism in these figures. I feel truly inadequate looking at your outstanding work!

Guys guys...you are way too gentle to me. It's not that I am that skilled at figure painting, I'm only like a struggling pitbull, I keep going until it looks good enough. You never see the battles fought at my desk, only the wars won.

Oops forgot to post a pic. The scarf was given extra highlights and shadows and some of the camo spots were altered a bit.

Thank you fellas, I call the jacket 90% done, I still have to put some more contrast in it tomorrow. I can hardly wait to paint the ammo bandolier and the suspenders, that will add a lot more colour to the bust. The buttons and zipper were done with Humbrol light copper enamel paint but it felt like I was brushing big chunks of pigment, very odd. I thinned with Humbrol enamel thinner. What's your experience on this one friends?
Reference to paint the bandoleer properly.

Guy, before my experience with AMMO metallic colors (that are fantastic) I used Humbrol and Testors metallic enamels without any problem. I really like enamel to paint metals, but the new generations of acrylics is fantastic.
