Thanks, Boots! Yes, this is a nice color combination with this scheme. The Navy has pulled off some good looking camo schemes on some jets over the years.

Small update on the A-6 but but alot of head scratching went into this. As noted before, this A-6 featured a false canopy on the underside to confuse enemy gunners. Fightertown Decals provides this as a one piece decal but that won't work on the model due to the fact Monogram has the gear bay doors molded open, attached to the wheel bay. Then throw in the problem of the curves from the intakes. Also, the border and panes on the false canopy were left FS36375 which is the original underside color of the A-6 before it got camo. I decided to use a combination of the decal and paint. I started off by painting the false canopy area FS36375 using a template cut from the original decal. I then masked off the border and panes to cover the FS36375. The gear doors and intakes were going to be too complex to lay a mask over of the windscreen panes so the final result will be half decal and half black paint. I painted the back half of the canopy area with Model Master Black. I then cut out the windscreen areas and I will apply this later as it looks like I will be able to trim and fit those where they need to go. On a funny note, I would say the false concept works pretty well as I started painting the top of the aircraft using the underside false canopy schematic from the decal sheet. Fortunately I didn't get too far before I noticed the error.
