This is my next effort is a Tamiya Me 262.
The one I have in my stash is the, Me-262 A-2a which I purchased when it was first released back in 2002. When I opened the box, I noticed I had already got the Eduard zoom set for the kit, which I had forgotten about! I must have got it about the same time I got the kit when that was released. The kit itself comes with a rather nice little Kettenkraftrad. I won't be building it with this Me 262, but I did add one to the A-1a version one of which I did make yonks ago. With this 262, I'm not sure in what markings yet, if any I'll build it in. I'm tempted to paint it with Alclad without any markings at all as I've fancied doing that for some time. I know I have about 3 different types of Alclad somewhere! If only I could find them, they would fit the bill nicely.
The Kittenkraftrad is on the left, and the nose weigh is in the middle.
