To break the boredom of painting Tiger tyres I thought I would stick some plastic together so opened this.  Made a start along with two modifications (so far) needed for the build I’m planning. Can you spot them?   The pink plastic is really messing up the white balance on my IPhone too  |

Is it the attachment for the spare wheel at the front, and the fuel tanks behind the driver and passenger seat?

When I was a kid, models like this were well out of my price range. I’d a just gazed at it longingly.

Nice one mate, fond memories of building this many years ago & it's still a decent kit. The pink plastic is not nice but I've built an AFV club kit that had white plastic and that was even worse.

Modifications done including converting the left hand drive, which took more than I thought it would. Put the three seats in the front and added the standard fuel filler for the version supplied to Iran on the 70’s. These ended up all over the place with various mods including the 12.7 Soviet MG added here, so I’ll choose who owns this one when I look at my paint stash. I should have entered this in the Sandbox GB but there you go  |
