Right I've made a start after working out how to proceed. First I removed some parts already glued on then carefully prised the rear door open slightly. Next the etched screens were attacked with a scalpel and pushed in to varying degrees for a good beat up look. The engine screen needed some modification as it was too big so a frame of plastic card was added too. Then some filler went on for some areas where tools should go. Nice to get this particular monkey off my back and on the bench!

I take it you're already priming by the time I've posted this

Not quite at primer stage yet Paul, perhaps next week it will be primed! More progress and I've added some texture with thinned Mr surfacer stippled on then started adding the fiddly light assemblies etc. Now working my way around the model and seeing if I can fit the side skirts, suitably beat up of course, and still get the wheels and tracks on later. I'll be leaving a few sections to show off the tracks behind.

Well the model is built up with only a couple of bits to fettle. To be honest the kit does not have that many parts as it's essentially a box on tracks. I had great fun duffing up the side skirts and found I could glue them in place and still get the tracks and wheels on which will help with painting later. Now I'll search through the spares for suitable debris for the base and decide on either a plain sand camo or sand & green.
