Cheers guys, bit of a disaster this morning while masking the base. The bloody masking tape took off the gloss!! My fault probably as I did not prime before spraying the gloss.

Yes VERY annoying! However I've primed it and sprayed again this time with some automotive paint I found in the garage so it should stand up to masking once cured!
