Base groundwork done last night. Nothing fancy just some sand and gravel. The plan is for long grass edges with some shrubs and a range sign to finish it off.
Today I'll start adding the grass and may have it all done by tonight.

Thanks fellas, well the base and indeed the build is now finished. I added some static grass in various lengths to the base then sprayed it with my custom grass mix before hitting the base with tamiya buff & deck tan. this was followed by some stone painting before some shrubs were added. I made up a range sign using plastic rod & sheet and a spare decal. No pigments at all have been used on this as I wanted a relatively clean looking vehicle on a gunnery range. Also no stowage as well for the same reason. Really enjoyed this one, more in the gallery.

I was surely tempted to add them to the car base Pete but didn`t have a clue as to what i was really looking for, in 1/25th scale there isn`t anything like the stuff for other scales........but then i thought size doesn`t really matter......on this occasion

, i can get away with varying size stuff no matter what the scale.........except a tree

, if you don`t mind sparing a couple that would be great.......i can get some idea as to whats what.
