The transmission itself has more parts than any Tamiya kit

The transmission is also needed on their "complete interior" kits . Figure that one out.

It’ll help detailing the MAZ as Trumpy plastic is pure fiction

Anyway I'll get 2 or 3, since I will need one for a T-54 and another for my diorama project... Factory Tank yard, a mix of repaired and abandoned tanks / BMP's BTR. A few engines, wheels, tracks, transmission, tools, welding, ammo, anyway I'm still cooking this idea

I clicked on link...... ‘Jees’, do the Russians just build tanks to fill up scrap yards? Are they that bad? 🤔

I don't know what is more worrying..... the fact that they have those facilities to over-haul those numbers, or the fact that the same number or more are still on active service

Are they that bad? 🤔 That scap yard in Ukraine is filled with a lot of T-64 which for the most part are out of service, those were produced in Ukraine during the ColdWar, so I'm guessing that after 1994 most of Russian T-64's stayed in Ukraine, either for scrap or to be upgraded and used by Ukraine armed forces. Still, that's an impressive scrap yard.

Not me Mike, it's john thinking about this madness Not this madness... what I'm planning is much smaller.
I think I posted these in the References thread awhile ago,
Anyway it will be much smaller that these massive yards, maybe with some machinery, tools, welding, oil drums, a BRDM, one or two BTR's, one SP artillery and a few tanks, T-54 /T-55/T-62/T-64 and T-72.
Still have to check which tanks to use.

Okay, that's it. With all these pics of Russian tanks; I'm gonna just have to start building my stack of Russian tank kits. They may be scrap in those pics above, but mine will be serviceable machines. These pics have got me fired up to do just that.
