Tiger Model AMX-30 B2 Brennus

Turret is now all done and the model is now ready for washes & filters. As you can see it's very vivid at the moment and the chips look way too bright but fear not, this will all tone down nicely during the next phase. All the periscopes have gone on now as I was not happy with the clear green I used for the glass. So once it's almost done I'll go back over them with clear blue & tamiya clear to sort em out.

Good lord Pete. This has really progressed since I last looked. Very impressive.

Cheers mates, as ever your comments & support help me along. Robbo, I've done one kit with way more chipping than this, the tamiya T55 which I build way back in 2009. Always enjoy a bit of chipping when it's called for.

The first batch of washes & filters went on over the weekend. I started with a diluted filter of MIG neutral wash followed by a couple of pin washes using modellers world black brown oil wash. This was followed today by a very diluted filter of modellers world earthy grime. The lower hull & wheels have also had an initial wash of dust oil wash just to see how it looks.  A couple more pin washes will go on next before a matt coat.

That looks incredible!
