Inspired by the great Japanese builds here recently I though I’d throw a quick kit into the ring so raid  A cockpit from the box, home mix green and wash. I’ll pick out a bit of detail, add the decals and close it up. The canopy is one piece so you won’t see too much anyway   |

I agree. I heard Hasegawa is reissuing the "Pete" floatplane so I will definitely be getting one of those.

You guys are great, thanks for stopping by all It’s all buttoned up now, no pic sorry as my phone battery is flat  It fit okay, not Tamiya but good for a £6 kit! The kit only has one decal option but I’ll use a bit of artistic license with the camo. Pic update tomorrow |

Oh another Zero on the go. Looking forward to see this. I got a Tammi A6M5 in the stash and I was tempted to open it a while ago, but then I decided to keep it in the box for now. Looking at yours will do ^^

Hi all, thanks for stopping by and dropping a note Managed to spend an hour or so at the bench. Finished detailing the cockpit by adding the kit decals and belts made from Tamiya tape. Dry fitted the canopy and you can’t see much so I’ll leave it at that. Closed up the fuselage and added the flying surfaces. As you can see a bit of filler was needed here and there but nothing too scary  A bit of work on the donk and fan. All brush painted with Airfix acrylics.  cheers all |
