Thanks for the support friends It’s been a ‘bit of a few days’ I was off colour after my jab, then just as I felt better started with a toothache! Still forced myself to do a bit, primed and looked for faults and found a couple. Sinks in the underside of the wings, I was going to leave it them but thought I’d better have ago at filling them. Masked off the area to help with cleanup. Also found some gap around the canopy so Plastic Putty to the rescue. I gave up masking the frame and bought some Eduard precuts. The moulds were too shallow to trace Tamiya tape around.

How much did the masks cost you Steve? Hiya Robbo, I think it was £4.50 which is quite expensive seeing as the kit cost me £6 but it did the job.

Steve, excellent work on the A6M. Good call with the Eduard pre-cuts. That would be tough in 1/72 scale to cut.

Cheers Chaps! Paint.. home mix grey colours from various Tamiya. Green is Deep Green with a touch of white. Both over a dark grey preshade. Aotake was mix of Humbrol French Blue and Aluminium from their new dropper bottles and good they are too. Onwards to stickers!
