WOW Bert... I've just read through the lot and hat's off to you. I'm a huge fan of the Piranha/LAV/Stryker so really enjoying what you're doing. Glad I'm not the only loon doing multiple vehicles. Well done so far

Thanks all.
And @ Andy: it's a bit like simultaneous chess, having to memorize where you are with each one of them... mind you, thsi is only 9, not 16

So with the Grizzley finished, I went back to this one... Wasn’t to pleased with the rock faces so out came the toilet paper and PVA, and some treebark. Still looks really strange but still needs to be painted.. And started on a tree, dead plant from the garden and glued seafoam to the ends of the branches. Still a lot of work to do, but on the move again…

Awesomeness Bert Can you give us a demo, or step by step on that pooh paper thing? It looks like very convincing trapped snow to me

Paul, It is actually taking a sheet of toilet paper, painting it with PVA, kneading it and that's it... the more you dilute the PVA, the longer it takes to dry and the less 'solid' it is. I started out with diluting it 50%, like I found on a site. But last use was undiluted, and I prefer that much more. It is like clay, but super lightweight.. You should give it a try!

Great stuff Bert. I can recommend sprinkling cat litter on the wet surfaces. it makes a great representation of broken stony ground. You can then spray over it and after a few coats washes can be used also. Good to see more progress on this.

Andy, thanks for the tip! Ian, thanks, but unfortunately it isn't supposed to be snow just needs to be painted... Even if it's not supposed to be wintry stuff, you still created a great winter effect, nonetheless! Really looks like a great representation of the frozen stuff in the crevices.

Bert, your groundwork looks extremely realistic! Looks like terrain from an actual photo.
