Bert, first time I saw the base without the vehicles I was wondering if the LAVs could make the turn. Then I realized just how enormous that whole base is. Really stellar work. I echo what Paul said; would be great just to see it in person.

Thank you very much! I must admit that I am not sure they could make this turn in reality, the turns are 27-30 cm wide, which x35 is 10 1/2 meter, I read somewhere they have a turning circle of about 15 meter.. and to be honoust, the last descent has become to narrow because of adding that rock structure...

Well, if you happen to be in the neighbourhood... this one is on the floor in the livingroom, feel free to take a peek through the frontwindow And there is a bench in the frontyard, just turn it around so you can sit down while looking The meeting will have to wait untill we are allowed to invite more than 2 at a time again... |
