Thanks guys. Don’t you just hate it when Tamiyachange the colour? If you can see the difference. Luckily, I am starting from a new bottle and not half way through the model.

The left one has more blue in it which makes it a colder colour. I like both colours.

Left is the old colour in the picture above. I think I prefer the new. See for yourself.

Which colour has been altered now Tommy? It's getting a tad annoying all this colour changing.

Dark green XF 61.
I only noticed it because they had one old and 2 new bottles in the shop. Not a Tamiya shop or model shop, so the bloke behind the counter didn’t know anything about it.

Thanks PorcoRosso. Pricey but worth it I’d say.

Well I have created bags of attitude with my panzerabteilung weathering set. First VMS mud, then oils- light mud, earth, dark mud and oil stains. Then blended with some thinners and here you go. Done the same to the wheels, but they are still on the sprue.

Tommy it looks really nice. Another thing you can do besides these methods is to flick earth colours, wet pigments...onto the lower hull. A toothpick and an old brush are enough to create magic results. Try it on a piece of paper first and see if it's interesting, don't load your brush completely but just enough to avoid massive splattering. You can simulate light mud (dry) and dark mud (wet).

Now, I’ve been chip, chip chipping. It’s all going to get covered over with more washes and filters.

Thanks. Yes Steve, kitchen sink and everything is going on this one. Tracks are bashed and weathered. I weighted them down on the previous one. Might do the same again.

You certainly want to weight the tracks Tommy, the T34 always sagged on the road wheels. Apart from that it looks bloody good
