Thanks, guys! I just steal great techniques from you guys. This weathering evolution is straight from Model Military Int'l June 2008 from an article entitled "Danube Defender" which features a fantastic step-by-step on a 1/35 Panther. This author's technique is really great. Minor update on the KV-2 as I hit the final stretch. You guys have mentioned the Nightshift YT channel a lot so I got curious and followed his steps for tank exhausts. Started with Mr. Surfacer Primer followed up with Vallejo Winter White applied with a sponge. I then added layers from Vallejo's Rust Set and ended up with this. Rounded it out with some oil washes. I was very happy with the result and will definitely check out more tips from Nightshift.

Thanks, guys! Tommy, tow cables were from the kit.,Tamiya supplied a rope piece which was cut and glued on to the end pieces. The cables were painted with Vallejo Steel, given a wash of Mineral Spirits/oils and then a final layer of pigments.
