Looks great Ian! With a good flat cover, the film will disappear.

Love that camouflage, and great you managed to find some spare decals. Starting like a real grown up Tiggy now

Thanks fellas, got to do some washes and more work on them tools before I dirty her up a bit, nothing like the other Tiger that is being done on here but I've been watching someone on Youtube and can't wait to try some things out. Going to order some oils Tuesday when we get paid, still trying to get over the wedding till then.

Nice one Ian, I was just about to start digging through my decal reserves for you . If you can try and get some more "micro set" behind the decal, it should help flatten out the air trapped in there. If you can't, give the decal another shiny coat and then attack it with weathering and a good matt coat later

Ian, have you tried to put the model on a side and the drop on a load of Sol ? That should really do the trick, but don't touch it until it's settled in.

Also, cutting micro slits in the decal with a brand new #2 or #11 blade and then applying more setting solution can help with stubborn decals. That way the solution can work from underneath as well.

Good luck with the decals. What oils are you getting - abteilung 502? That's what I got and they are brilliant.
If worst comes to the worst, you can always hide the decals behind some mud or battle damage.

I've given the wheels a wash on one side, I'll leave it dry for a few hours before I flip it over and do the other side

Way to go Robbo! I never understand why you think your work is so mediocre; it always far outshines anything I do! You rock man!
