The more info I got on GB's Stug the more questions kept popping up. Did GB service on just one Stug or were there other Stugs during the different campaigns? Finally I stopped wrapping my head around it to prevent me from mojo loss. Paul pm'd me a photo showing the man's Stug with tracks used as add on armor and the fire smoke dischargers weren't installed. I can be sure of these facts so that's what will be done.

And I'll slap on a 60mm frontal armor panel.

yes, and other than that, just keep the build fun. If you keep in mind that 100% accuracy isn't possible anyway it'll probably make life a lot easier. Keep the artist's impression and you'll be fine. If you can't find a suitable commander figure I suggest you use Bob from the Minions....just to keep it real

Wouter, LMAO! Ian, thank you.
I'm glad to have the GB Stug photo as a reference. Now the upper hull part has the correct bolted on armor panels left and right from the gun other than what Dragon suggests in the instructions manual (welded on panels).

I’ve lost it again AG , I remember building the Dragon StuG A years ago, the instructions were way off then too so you have my sympathy? I know you’ll kick it into shape though B)

Steve I do my best but it's Dragon, you never know for sure what you're doing is the right thing. The extra 60mm front armor panel is bolted on and required some altering but nothing too complicated.
