Academy 1/35 M51 Isherman Refurb

Bert, feel free to subscribe anytime. I will warn you, however, the channel is kind of blank because most of the videos are things I haven't discovered yet......by accident. 

And before anyone makes a pun from grasses and reading glasses, I beat you to it.

The various tones look very good Ian.

Did some more work on the M51 as I have added some pigments. I used European Earth from AK because I am depicting one of the M51s that got rushed to the Golan Heights to help out the beleaguered Centurion units. The soil there is evidently a little darker so that seemed to be a good color. M51s also had a barb wire carrier on the bow which was a loop on the bottom and a holder on top. I made the loop out of spare PE and the holder out of sheet stock. I also added the stowage to the hull area as well and used some thread to simulate rope. A metal tow cable was also added with cable ends coming from the spares box. I still have to add the mounts for the cable ends. Turret stowage is next.
