Ok fellas.................doubt if this will of much interest to most but this is one of my many passions,
Full artistic licence to do what the heck i like with it and no rivot counters to answer to.......
This is the 32 5 window coupe and how the box art portrays it
However.........it ain`t gonna look like that...
The truth is i started this a couple of years ago and did some extensive conversion work and scratchwork........while i have been doing/waiting for parts for the Fury i dug this outta the stash to work on inbetween...
Story so far
Roof chopped and lowered by 2mm.......not only was it chopped but it had to be sectioned in half to allow the posts to line up, the gap was then filled with a fillet and gradual layers of filler added and sanded smooth to make it whole again.........it took about 5 or 6 attempts to eventually get it suitable
Next the whole body was lowered over the chassis rather than onto it to give a much more slammed down look...............this initself caused major re-working of all the remaining parts, ........that 5mm drop meant everything from radiator,engine,suspension, interior,rear inner wheel arches all had to be re-fabricated/adjusted to suit the new stance....the firewall was completely scratched and the remainder had 5mm removed out of the middle of each part...............the rad cowling was angled to give a more aggressive look......the interior door cards and seat also had to be re-worked......
Some wheels out of the spares box were used but once again i`ve had to make them fit by altering the axles......
The engine is not the kit one but one from the spares box, this as mentioned was re-worked to fit accordingly

Sunroof cut out, some scratched running boards, rear lights and bumper, stack exhausts (WIP) and some of the interior door cards etc..

Dunno if you remember the Ford Falcon i did in the abandonded GB..........i`m gonna go similar lines to that with a patina effect.....even thought about a faded OD.......did toy with going shiny but decided against |
