Quick heads up that the St Ives model show is this Sunday, at Burgess Hall, St Ives, from 10 til 4. Postcode is PE27 6DW. Further details on the IPMS site. Hosted by IPMS Brampton. I hope to attend for a browse.

Wasn't a bad show yesterday, we were busy all day, although chatting with the trader next to us, who was selling old kits, he wasnt happy as there were about a dozen other traders also selling old kits, would have been good for modellers though. How weve missed the sights and sounds and some strange smells of the model shows....
After all the years of hand sculpting with magicsculpt etc, although everyone liked the items you wouldn't believe how many people were asking -
'How long does it take to print these?'
'My friend has a 3d printer also'
'so do you just press the button and the printer churns them out?'
But only one person - 'So do you import these from Russia?'

Everyone was very pleasant, loved our range, was just all the 3d printed comments, never had people ask before... We just explained that everything was sculpted by hand and cast in house.
Some very strange sights including an old man walking around with bow tie with a badger glove puppet on his hand, waving at people... weird....

Unfortunately I had to make the decision not to travel to the show. Sorry I missed it guys, and hope to make the next one instead. It seemed prudent not to use lots of fuel with the current petrol situation...  |

I think a lot of people maybe made the same decision, we did wonder if that would happen. Didn't get chance to take any photos of exhibits :-(

Can`t get any fuel whatsoever near me........  My lad went to work an hour earlier this morn (5am) and they were queing at ASDA..........good old media for ya!!!!! |
