It won't stop me from daily modelling but when it hurts too much I have to stop as I don't want to make it worse.

Thank you so much for the warm reactions my good friends.
As you might have noticed I'm not really as active as I usually am. I try to glue on a couple of parts every day but it would be too ridiculous to report the minor steps I'm taking to get this gun finished. However, the sprues are slowly getting emptied. The kit is nearly built and I can hardly wait to begin the colouring of it, making a small setting with a ruined corner house section, just maybe a figure to add interest.
The arm is (very) slowly getting better but a lot of rest is still necessary for the healing process. Even typing words on my notebook wasn't possible without peeing my pants from the pain only a week ago.
