What a shame. As the others have said, step back and take a break, but don't sell the stash.

Devastating news. If I had one it would be yours.

Thank you fellas builders, you're too kind you know. Next time I post something it will be 100% done as I'm still feeling pretty embarrassed after this second catastrophy.

Nothing to be embarrassed about. All these chemicals we use in these builds and paint jobs can put us on thin ice sometimes as we simply don't know what will happen or what type of reactions occur (i.e. accelerant on Hasegawa plastic =splintered plastic, Solvaset on Tamiya Decals=a shriveled mess, Gunze paint on mold release agent=a spider-webbed mess of a paint job-----just to name a few)

i have never had a failure............... not one!!!!! over the last 60 odd years of sticking bits together one way or another i have had not one but many, so stand back and look at what you achieved without a failure........... you are lucky if something doesnt work out. throw it in the bin and start again when you feel the mojo is strong. bill

Like Bill, I've had numerous failures too. I can't help it after having completed a grand total of 1592 models to date. Like Bill said too: Look at what you've succeeded in and achieved. Your work far outshines mine and while that is no great accomplishment; your work does stand alongside some of the greatest Master model builders I know. I really do hope you don't give up. I love looking at your outstanding work.

You're the best guys!!! I'm taking a good rest now and I hope it will pay off coz not building is a serious sacrifice. I'll focus on my Italeri US infantry figgies first when I restart. Thanks for jumping by brothas.
