Thanks a bunch guys. Really impressed with this Mig Ammo stuff. It’s tricky but well worth it. Marsh Marigold My daughter was pleased to colour in some of the leaves and stems. Planted in this afternoon and they too, look spiffing. (Although in these pictures the stems look a bit 2 dimensional)

Always think unrealistic greenery can spoil a good dio but not a chance of that with the plants here!
That fern looks excellent It does look excellent, doesn’t it? The problem I have now, is too realistic scenery will put my models to shame. Let’s hope not.

DRY FERN Not sure about this one. Started of with Tamiya grass effect paint and noch grass tuffs. Painted them with buff and dark yellow. After priming the fern I stipples with dark yellow (could have done with more colour) and then stuck on with PVA. These were really delicate and some broke. But that wasn’t a problem, it just gave me stumpy bits to stick on. I think the fern needs to be a lighter colour so it stands out more.

Tommy it's your garden fella, so you can do what you think is right. For me, I would be very happy with it as it is

HART’S TONGUE The fourth laser cut plant. Again coloured with normal colour pencils. Lots of brown for early autumn.

Next step has been some leaves and twigs. The leaves are Mig Ammo again, the twigs, bits of wire coated in plastic putty and painted and weathered. The leaves stuck on with PVA again.
