Holy moly fellas, I certainly wasn't expecting this much feed back for an old school kit  . Thank you all kindly for the great praise  . Si, yes the tracks are link and length, much better than those vinyl things the original release had. Also they are the correct type for WWII and maybe up 1950ish. As you can see, I am all over the place with this one  . This afternoons doings were concentrated on the .50 mount on the turret. The kit item is just turd, and doesn't really look like the real thing at all. So out came the white profiles bitz and a new mount was knocked up  . Also the kit .50 belongs in the bin, I have used a resin printed one from Gas Patch, with a cradle from Academy . Still need to add the ammo can holder, but that can wait for a day or two yet .     More soon dudes |

Sorry Paul, I missed this one. I've been a bit punch drunk after fighting with the grandkids. The welding looks extremely good. With welding that good, you could weld submarine hulls! Only the very best welders weld those babies together.

Chaps, thank you all kindly . I have been trying to find some motivation on this tonight, but I'm finding it bloody difficult  . So all that has been done is to add some bracket stuff on the right hand turret side, and the two lifting eyes on the mantlet . Hope to get some more serious stuff done tomorrow.  |
