Seeing an oldie like this brought up to date is always great fun, especially when it in the hands of someone like you Paul.
Link and length tracks are a massive improvement to the base kit but your extra will make this an outstanding build.

Back on the Chaffee today . Yesterday I primed the hull with Vallejo Hobby Paint German Grey (spray can), and just a moment ago I sprayed Mission Models Olive Drab on. If you're asking why the light clusters have been covered over, the answer is simple. They are rubbish parts in the kit. I also know that the US armoured dudes covered them over in Korea, to stop the sun from shining on the glass. So I decided to say that this started in WWII in Italy, my story and I sticks to it . After adding the last bits to the turret this afternoon, I took it into the cellar and primed that also. The turret will get its colour tomorrow morning

Looks great, Paul! I really liked the Mission Models Olive Drab. Thought it laid down very well. Looks great on your M24.

Cheers Ian . The MM paint is usually very good, but this time I had some problems with it. Maybe it's getting a little old
