Time for the engines, Main and auxiliary. The rear bulkhead needs drilling out to accept the included LED bulbs.









Engine bells sprayed and then LEDs glued in with PVA. And lots of spaghetti.

To get the lighting effects to show through, numerous holes need to be drilled through the hull, in fact, somewhere between 900 and 1,000! The problem is, as this was designed as a static no frills model the outer decking pieces are stuck on to inner frames. This means drilling through 4-6mm of plastic every hole. With a .3mm and .5mm drill bit in a pin vice, which would be nigh on impossible.



Therefore some drastic razor saw and dremel work is required.
