Very interesting. How did you come up with the reflective paint idea?

Marvelooooose work Andy Are you running 2 seperate wiring looms for upper and lower deck or will it all connect together as one when you mate the two halves

Very interesting. How did you come up with the reflective paint idea? Hi Jeff, I have to confess to seeing it done on another build. My thought process was that the holes are so small light would be better spread throughout the hull with some help. The only thing I had to be careful of was ensuring all the joins were properly sealed to prevent light leakage. Andy

It's minimal wiring actually. Revell provide a circuit board which sticks to the lower hull and both LED strips plug into. Good job really as I'm easily bamboozled Andy

Amazing, and you get all the bits you need in the kit?
If you don't mind me asking, what would one of these cost?

Evening all, A little more explanation of the basing of these beasts. The aluminium tube is mounted through the lower half of the hull and takes the power pack wires down to a length of 6" x 2" timber, fortunately left over from the summer's decking project outside. I sprayed the first tube before I mounted it with BMW Cosmos Black from Halfords only to scratch it and get overspray from the hull on it. Therefore I only primed the second one and masked it up for the black after fitting. I cut out a corner section of the wood to screw in the power pack which consists of 4 x AA batteries. Painting stages next once I've sorted the pictures out. No surprises about the basecoat for these beasts though. Halfords again and this time Ford Dove Grey.

I think the Level 4 is the basic model that was originally Zvezda. When I bought these last year they were difficult to get hold of and I paid £105 for one and £160 for the other. Prices have changed this year and I've seen £129-£189 on the web,
