Back in the good old days of MilitaryModelling.com we had a tradition of compiling our builds for the year in one place. Despite 2020 being such a strange year with the ravages of COVID and the nonsense of BREXIT, it was actually quite a productive year for me both in terms of modelling and artwork. Here's a small gallery of what I actually got finished during year 1 of the Pandemic. 1/72 Airfix P-51D 1/72 Airfix BAe Hawk T Mk1 1/35 Ding Hao Churchill Snake A3 WW1 Recruiting Poster in colour pencil A3 WW1 Recruiting Poster in colour pencil 1/72 Airfix Me Bf109E 1/48 Tamiya P-51B Mustang 1/72 Airfix Avro Vulcan X 3 - Commission Builds - XM610, XM607 and XL319 25' x 25' Lawn painting at Air Command for Battle of Britain 80 Bandai Death Star II Bandai Super Star Destroyer 1/48 Bandai Snowspeeder A3 Ju87 (based on Airfix 1/24 boxart) colour pencil 1/72 Bandai Y-Wing fighter 1/72 TIE Advanced fighter

Andy, great selection of models! I especially love the Vulcans! Truly an iconic aircraft. The detail work on the Y-Wing is amazing, too.

Thanks very much Ian, The Vulcans were done as a commission for the bloke who arranged the finance on my Mustang. All were the old Airfix kit and they were a challenging set of builds. The Y-Wing was another commission and was an absolutely fantastic kit. I loved every minute of it. I'll post up a thread of the build at some stage. Andy

Very nice collection! And a wide variation of subjects, nice! Thanks very much Bert 2020 was the first year I have really varied my subject matter. Driven by commission work initially it has been quite refreshing, although I am determined to get more armour back into the mix for 2022. (This year has also been very heavily Aviation and Space). Excellent year and awesome productivity! Nice work, although half the pics didn't load for me. Based on the quality of the work I did see, I know the others were simply stunning!

Sorry they don't all appear. don't know why that would be. I'll probably end up putting them all up as blogs at some stage or other. Andy

No worries. Upon returning to this Thread, all the pics loaded this time. Makes me inclined to think it is the Forum software itself that hiccups now and then; not anything you did. It was well worth returning to see the work I didn't see before.
