Been following this here and on FB. Nice work Pete, mighty fine camouflage painting and detailwork. And now the real fun begins. Starts coming to life now ^^

Did you give it a gloss coat before the pin washes? Indeed I did Tommy, always do for decals & washes. The model had a few more small washes added yesterday then matt varnish went on last night. I'll leave this for a good few days to cure before the real fun begins!

That fits the bill mate..........very fetching indeed Steve.....i`m pretty certain Pete uses the VMS range........they have a good reputation for being user friendly

Details are popping nicely now. What gloss and flat coats do you use buddy? Steve as Boots says I usually use VMS varnish, especially for the matt coat but I'm out at the moment so am using vallejo premium airbrush color 62.062 matt varnish at present and it performs as well if not better than VMS. For the gloss I use Johnsons Klear floor polish. It's now called something else but it's essentially the same.

Not much to report as I've been working on the M16 & looking after Mrs S but I've made a start on the final weathering of the road wheels. Still a fair way to go but I'm liking the effects thus far.
