Love stowage on kits. Bert, your stowage budget in your Fiscal Defense spending must be incredible. LOL!

Well, the fact I buy most of my kits, including the stowage, second hand helps in keeping the costs within budget Otherwise I might have to start a crowdfuning campaign...

This is something, a nice line up of iconic vehicles. I can recommend AFV's Dodge Wc's and the "Bigshot" kit.

Hi Guy, my Dodges are by Italeri, got them really cheap, here in Holland we have a site where everyone can sell anything they want, a lot of people sell their surplus kits there. The AFV versions are about twice their price, even second hand.. And I don't know if there is a whole lot of difference between them, probably only noticable to people who really want to build an as exact as possible version. Seeing as I wanted to have them looking Israeli, I don't think it was worth the price difference. And to be honoust, I have no idea if I should have altered a lot of parts to make them more authentic IDF.. The bigshot is a WC63, is there a lot of difference with the WC62 by Italeri which I built? Or again, only noticable by details.. I didn't intend to get any of them originally, had only the Shermans and M3's in mind, only after coming across pictures and video's showing the Dodges in IDF service in 1967 I decided to get those as well. The reason I didn't have them in mind was that I am not really interested in WW2 vehicles in particular, it is just by coincidense that I ended up doing them. After this diorama I intend to do an 'addition/follow up' with M48's and M151's, maybe an extra M3 again, even a Centurion of so... because I came across nice pictures and video's of combined groups of them going through the Sinai.
PS first thought you meant an M40 with bigshot..

Thanks guys, I am always a bit curious if people will find the chipping too much.. but in my opinion, these vehicles are remnants of WW2 or from just after it, so have been in servie for nearly 20 years, and probably replaced right after this war or on the nomination of being replaced but kept on due to the war. And eventhough the IDF keeps its vehiclces in top condition, these will start to show their age. And I do like this heavy chipping, but I must remember that when I start doing more newer stuff, the chipping will be a lot less, more like the way I did on the LAV's.

Very nice work, at normal viewing distance those chips will look perfect.

True, the photos distort the picture always, exaggerate the effect quite a bit.

And while waiting for the dust to settle on the Dodge started on something new again, a slightly different truck again... This kit came with an extra bit, I think as old as the kit? And the former owner explained he got it for the wrong kit.. So I will have to see what to use, what fits.. because of the nice engine and interior for the engine compartment I want to try it having an opened hood.. engine failure.. I want to get figures that might be mechanics, have found some stuff but they are German car mechanics, and German tank crew working, Russian crew pushing.. can't find any American or British mechanics.. as if their vehicles never broke down Anyone any ideas about a kit like that?
