Indy links are my personal nightmare too.. I'm sure you'll work your way through them though buddy! Figures certainly have some nice pre-shading , you'll enjoy painting them up

Sharp work on the hull, Bert. Here's another one begging for stowage out of your stash!

I’m working on link and length at the moment. Glue a few together, when dried a bit place them on the rollers. Leave to fully cure, then you can take them off easily for painting. As far as I’ve got at the moment:

Bert with those style tracks I glue them onto the running and leave the outer road wheels and if possible the idler wheels off. I then remove and paint the whole lot separately and add the outer wheels later .

Thanks for all the advice, great help! @ Paul: Unfortunately on this model you cannot dryfit the wheels, they dont stay on without glue.... so they are glued on now.. @ Tommy; thanks for that very clear picture, explains it even better again! @ Steve: this part of the figure painting I can manage, it is usually the rest that makes it difficult, especially the faces... @ Ian: I seem to have unlimited amounts of stowage that's why I build a lot of IDF vehicles, have to get rid of all that stuff @guy: thanks, sure wish my figures looked a bit like yours....

I am wondering about the spare wheels.. should I drill out some holes? the holes that I marked black? The red markings are molded on bolts...

About time I posted something here again, been doing a good bit... The M51, upper and lower hull not glued together yet, still have to add the row of bolts on the front at the joint.. add the jerrycans... and offcourse the tracks.. been pushing that forward untill the last ... so will have to start on them.. Added the stowage, ammunition belts to the .50, a cable for the searchlight.. and drilled out those bolt holes on the spare wheels.. And the truck.. painted a lot of it, it is still in pieces.. Than dryfitting again, to see if it still fits... And painted up the cargo for the rear... And then the crew... now that I know my figure faces are actually based on a real person (Thanks at Paul B for the image of Marty Feldman) I can show them here... though one of them is not sure where to go... The rest of the crew, after fixing the trousers of the pointing guy, he was wairing those puttee kind of thngs.... Then got them all around the truck, not completely as they will be, as the wheels are still off, and they still need a matt coat..
"You see, I tolld you, the someone nicked our engine!" Notice I gave two of them a piece of cloth, to wipe their hands... and the missing engine...
Well folks, thats it for now, untill the next time..

Bert, the M-51 looks sharp, especially with all the stowage. Also, love all that stowage for the truck. Exceptional work, sir!
