So, how did it go? Here is an example first both eyes are just blobs. The right eye looks ok as is. The left not so. Now I worked on the left My god, my new Windsor and Newton paint brushes are awe…..some!!!! Hope this helps!

Seeing I had to stop working on my LAV's, I thought I could start thinking up a lay out for something new... and no, it is not going to be something small, I like it big.... The idea is a couple of tanks on a hill overlooking a road, a convoy on that road.... 100x50 cm... 12 vehicles... this is the basic outlay... to see if it fits, how many fit... the players in this part will be: And to show you which player is where... Not sure about 2 two religious players.. might send them off.. because there are 3 more players on their way that I might add in their place: Off course there will be stowage and figures.... So dear audience... what do you think? Suggestions, additions, retractions, changes, I am open to suggestions... Wow, that will be a challenge!

Wow, that will be a challenge! Thanks! But compared to all that miniature PE on your ship.... thats what I call a real challenge!

Thanks Porco and Guy! Tommy, did it like you said, they do look better! Thanks again! My phone camera actually recognises them now as faces, and I get that little frame around them Eventhough some of them look like they could do with a lot of sleep... or they got a black eye

It's all practice Bert . I tend not to bother with eyes and just rely on shadows, but if I do risk painting eyes, I use something other than white. Anyway, all is looking good and you are getting better my friend

That's it. So long as you are having fun. I never do eyebrows though. With those blond Germans you hardly notice them, but those black haired mediterranean types..

Well, I'm intrigued. I saw all the pics on the previous page of this thread, but on this page nothing loads. I guess I'll have to wait till the Forum conniption fit stops.

Thanks guys, and indeed, a lot of it, each time i think I am finished I see some more... And actually.. there is to much I had added those bags on the rear of the turret, forgot to see how they would fit with the stuff that should go in those big racks... and now the turret is lifted up a bit because the bags rest on that stowage... Unless I turn the turret this far... But than my crew won't fit anymore the way I want them ... will have to think about it..

Oooh........thats a bummer Bert A tricky one.......the damage limitation option of having the turret turned would certainly rule out the choice of trying to remove the bags and ruining paintwork, but as you say......the figures then play a big part!!. If you did decide to remove the bags......a draped tissue tarp is ya best friend
