Oooh........thats a bummer Bert A tricky one.......the damage limitation option of having the turret turned would certainly rule out the choice of trying to remove the bags and ruining paintwork, but as you say......the figures then play a big part!!. If you did decide to remove the bags......a draped tissue tarp is ya best friend Amen to the draped tissue tarps!

Yes, I do. That is such a busy vehicle with all the bits and pieces and colouring.
Would you say it was your best yet?

Thanks very much guys!
Tommy: I don't know, I like certain parts of each model more than it worked out on another model. And I am constantly trying new things, like the way I applied the dirt on this one, that net over the stowage on one of those trucks, I used the burnt umber oil paint on the M51 for the first time.. this one is my first interior, which I liked a lot..

Bert this old gal has seen more than enough action Thanks, that was indeed the look I was trying to catch on this one, with the extra chipping and rusty streaks. Ready for retirement... after all, these M10's were allready out of action in 1967, even though it wasn't due to their age but more to their shortcomings.

Bert, this is bloody good Sir . Your figure painting is also improving at an exceedingly fast rate

Thank you very much guys, very kind words. And I do hope my figure painting is improving, I get enough practise But still find it the hardest part of it all.. I do notice that taking pictures with flash and zoomed in, shows every little flaw and makes it sometimes look funny, will take some pictures of the these models out in natural light with sunshine.. if we get sunshine..
