Bert, this is bloody good Sir . Your figure painting is also improving at an exceedingly fast rate Absolutely true.

Thanks Guy, but compared to those guys in that LCVP I still have a long way to go

Thanks Guy, but compared to those guys in that LCVP I still have a long way to go I'm afraid you're wrong my neighbouring modelling friend. It's the number of figures making the look in the boat ok, not the painting quality. The figures were in fact rather poorly molded, the tools,, weapons, webbing,... were of better quality, they saved the minimum of detail needed to keep having fun as a figure painter. You did a superb job!

Been busy with some other stuff, but picked this up again, just in case anyone was wondering if I had abandoned this project... I am building this.. But I will take the rockets off, and will be replacing them with this: First wanted to use this kit for it: But I like the upper edges of the IDF M3 more, eventhough that is part of the closed top, will have to see how i can be using that one.. And ofcourse there will be stowage and figures, but that is later on.. So first getting the halftrack together, good thing I did a Dragon M3 before, so I knew what to expect Well, it is allready starting to look familiair again...

Looking good Bert . I converted the old Tamiya kit into the Missile Carrier years ago, maybe you could add the Missile system to the Tamiya kit later

Little update on the M3:drivers part is nearly finished… Figures to go into it took a bit of work to get them to fit… And the rear, busy with adding the radio’s… They will need some wires and stuff… And adding seats in the rear… Not sure yet about howmany seats, two or three… leaning towards three… And bit of dry fitting to see what it will look like…

The figures look great, but why are they purple? Again there will be a lot to discover, it's becoming part of your signature and I love it!

Looks like the conversion fits rather well Bert . You need to get rid of that dust from your bench though. If it's resin dust, it's bloody dangerous. A wet kitchen towel or two will help, far better than trying to do it dry

Thanks everyone! Getting the figures to fit took a few hours, cutting up legs, arms, wrists.. shortening the legs a bit.. fitting them on their seats, repositioning arms and legs again... And these guys are from Hobby Fan, no idea why they used purple resin.. it was this set: The last radio needed a good bit of sanding to standup propperly, hence the last dust, the dust of sanding all the other radio's was already removed, and a wet piece of papertowl is indeed by far the easiest way.
