Damn, the dreaded track shrinkage .
Sometimes those solvent based washes/filters can attack the track even after acrylic paints, they react with the glue
and pull them together even more, resulting in a snap at the weakest points.
What ever you do, do not try to rejoin them. That will only cause more stress on other areas.
I would go for a good portion of dirt to try and disguise it.
