Indeed they do.

Primer on and base coat too. I decided on hobby color H313 yellow with a dash of white as it looked the best match for the real thing. A blast of olive drab & black primer on the tracks and wheels as well. The rest of the MASSTER pattern will be painted freehand with a brush and vallejo colours.

Cheers chaps, right first thin coat of the brown now using vallejo 301 light rust. This will probably get a drop of brown added on subsequent coats. MASSTER was an interesting pattern as even though there was a manual and diagrams for painting almost every type of vehicle it did not seem to be followed very carefully. Also vehicles seem to have been painted by each unit locally and not in central facilities so many variations are apparent.

I almost always hand paint hard edged patterns as it's far quicker and less faffing about than masking for spraying.

Yeah, I feel your pain. Glueing something is manageable, but painting something....nope. You wonder how people do it in the hotter parts of the world ey.

Looking fantastic already, makes me want to attempt brush paint cam again.
