Thought I’d open my thread, in keeping with my mojo boosting Braille, this is on order Quite fancy another desert camo so might go for an AU or Yemen second user camo

Thanks fellas Jeff, these Revell kits are great value, good to have you along Paul, Yemeni one is very tempting, 3 tone modern desert camo . No decals in the kit though cheers Boots buddy Pete, the kit has a lot of detail but I’d say it’s a bit softer the the Pz111 due to a bit more flash So we’re off! Started with this 5 part lower hull is together, a fair bit of mould lines and flash to remove one piece upper hull dry fitted to ensure the lower sets square ACWAE

Great start Steve . Even if the detail is soft it still looks fine in this scale , from here anyways. Looks like you're ahead of me too

Hi Steve,
Not only are you of to a cracking start, you have just shown me a way to finish a model, do a smaller one lol
I would do the Yemen version as sounds cool & as for no decals, well that just solves an accuracy to reference issues lol

Paul , Boots, Thank you kindly Guys Jeffers, yes link and length tracks. They don’t look too bad either Mike, lol! that’s exactly why I’ve switched to 1/72 for my builds. I’ve had too many unfinished kits which pull the mojo down. With these you sacrifice some detail for speed which suits my very limited bench time. When time allows I’ve some big scale stuff to do , a 1/24 Hurricane for one!

A bit of an update for you, after Revell’s wonderful Pz111 this kit is a bit of challenge with soft detail and poor fit. Maybe I’ve got a bad one but I’ll push on. Here we are, hull and turret dry fitted for now, the white is filler the link and length track did fit well though Cheers ACW
