Two years ago I made an SBS on making leafs, those prepared leafs have been locked in a zipper bag since then and today I used them for camo for the PaK 40 . I must say that I am really surprised how well they kept. The original leafs are now leathery, or more like mummified . So out came the Green Stuf World leaf stamp and the fun began . After stamping and sorting the leafs, I picked some boxwood roots and glued the leafs to the branches , each one being picked up separately and fixed in place with cyano .

Time well spent.
The Bren looks great too. Did you use the gun metal in the weathering master set?

Chaps, you're all too kind fellas, muchly appreciated indeed . Today I continued down the shrubbery (waiting for it ) route . I mixed some greens together to get some colour differences on the leaves, couldn't leaf them all in the same colour . Then I added them to the PaK 40, I reckon that it looks rather Wehrmacht am- bush like

Time well spent. The Bren looks great too. Did you use the gun metal in the weathering master set? Forgot to answer that Tommy . No I didn't use that. I painted the gun anthracite, then a grey wash used and after that, I used a wet brush dragged over a silver acrylic pencil and dry-brushed this over the metal parts

Ian, Boots, thank you both muchly chaps . Today I finished the PaK40, well I think it's finished . I added some tie-down wires to the foliage, dirtied the wheels up and other areas and also slightly highlightend the tow bars . Then I moved on with the internal stowage, this isn't going to get over complicated as most of will only be seen above . After that I started with some weathering on the carrier itself, not much, just a slight streaking with Mig Dark wash and picking out the rivets... oh yes, the tarp over the dummy stowage got its first treatment also .
