Now i know that a lot of ppl will say that it is not worth building. I think otherwise. I disagree. The dimensions and several features such as the longer wing at one side and other things are very accurately represented. The panel lines are very correct at were they are. The decal sheet is from the best you can find in any kit. If you ask me this dirt cheap kit has only two issues. First, the engraved panel lines are quite deep, on the other hand, so it is on most modern kits and the wheels are too small. I ' ll see if i can find anything to fix that. The other kit for a Veltro is the PCM kit that is both very rare and very expensive and it also has a number of issues it self. Well at the very least it is a beautiful plane and with interesting camo schemes. So here it is.

Very cool! Yes, I always thought that was an interesting fact about the wing dimensions on those. It was a great fighter, too!

Very cool! Yes, I always thought that was an interesting fact about the wing dimensions on those. It was a great fighter, too! There was good reason for the wing difference. It countered the propeller torque. That gave it a vibration free flight with much smoother controls. It was a big part of the characteristics that made it a great fighter. 😎

Finally managed to get this one moving. I decided to make a flying one. That means i couldn't find other wheels so i simply wont display the landing gear. 😁😛 Cockpit is basic but i wont do anything about it. Just a basic paint job and fabricated some belts and will move on.... Cant see much anyway with the canopy closed. I wont use the screws that are provided in the kit as they deform it if you tighten them. Their caps are closed with putty and will be sanded. The main effort will be at the camo. I think it will look good somewhere on my old pc....

You did a fine job mate there. I don't think i want to go that path... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 As you may have noticed, i try to keep things simple nowadays. 😛 I will go for the grey camo scheme. 😉

Well If you guys didn't have a good laugh today, that's what i am here for!!! Looking after your mental health.... The fuselage is getting glued...... It took a lot of putty and many sanding sessions to fill the gaps from the screw caps. More pics tomorrow. Can't take pics as it is right now... 🤣🤣🤣

Clamps and sheer force will defeat any kit! Looks like this one is being tamed.

With the kits i see getting built here i honestly feel ashamed to post anything... Skill wise and as to the quality of the kits. But since the start has been made i will post the progress. So after a lot of filling and sanding it was ready for primer. It will rest for now and let the primer sit and see if the putty will need more work after it absorbed the primer. Hopefully tomorrow i can start painting.
