Looking like a Stirling now Ian. Great work on the details, shame they're mostly hidden away. Could you leave the wing bomb bays open if you want to?

The Stirling had wing bomb bays ? I never knew that until just now , living and learning all the time

Thanks, guys! Yes, the option is given to open the shoulder bomb bays in the wings. However, I was reading an article that said the wing bays could actually be used to carry extra fuel cells so I just shut those for the build. I will display the main bay open, though, with a full load of nasties. Italeri provides nice ordnance, along with stencils. This aircraft had some interesting features. Apparently they were extremely difficult to land because it had a tendency to bottom out in the landing flare and smack into the ground.

Looking like the true monster it is, Ian.
Interesting info bwilt.
Paul, a stirling joke if ever there was one.
By the way Ian, how many pounds stirling was it? And on that bombshell, the prosecution rests its case!!!
