It is a RR. What more to say? I really like the way these vehicles looked. Mean with a classy flair... 😁 Even Rommel took a minute from the desert war to admire it. I think most of you know the kit from Roden. It is the first kit from Roden i get to work on. Detail looks superb. The sprues are quite oily so a bath is in order before we start. So, before it becomes an armored car, it will start life as a submarine.

Once that residue is washed off, you'll find quite a good kit . I built this years ago and it was fun

Bring it on! I built the Roden 1/72 scale kit. Aside form the delicate nature of many parts, it was a smooth and easy build. If your larger one is anything like my smaller one, you'll have a blast!
Just watch out for the decals; Roden decals tend to fold easily and fall apart. My recommendation is adding a coat of liquid decal film.

I was thinking of getting this and doing for Lawrence of Arabia, but…it was very expensive and post war.

Thanks for tagging along guys. Well, i started building it, but although the level of detail is superb i can't really say i love it so far. Fit is bad. Where locating pins exist, you cant join the parts unless you cut them and for a lot of small parts there are absolutely no locating points and directions are vague. Anyway, it is on the bench... Hopefully soon a proper update.

Looking like a cracked engine block John, I'm sure you'll get into the kit soon enough.

Hi again ppl. After a lot of work and hours we have progress. Since i had to do all the details i dont intend to just close it up. I will open the engine bay and the hatches so it can be visible. Now in order to do that i need a good walkaround, mainly interior and engine bay pics, from an actual fighting vehicle. I tried but found next to nothing and the few that i did find were polished parts show cars. If someone could help i would be obliged.
