Detail work is always a bit frustrating, but always pays off at the end. Looking good Pete.

Tons of detail, you always manage to make a kit more beautiful.

Looking forward to seeing you do it.

Well sadly yet again this build has gone from good to very bad very quickly. I'd already got some primer on and yesterday sprayed the first colour on. I had some issues with the paint drying before hitting the model even with drying retarder so last night decided to strip the model with VMS clean slate. All went well until this morning when I inspected the model and found that the glazing had fogged up. Possibly due to the clean slate as the glazing was not very good quality. To say I was distressed would be an understatement so the model has now had a trip to the bin!! Yes I could have fitted the window shutters down but this would require some work making new hinges and I just got fed up with yet another stalled build. Next will be either a tamiya kit or something totally different like and aircraft. That is after a suitable period of sulking and feeling sorry for myself

It is a shame as it was a lot of work and a nice subject, but these things happen. We 've all been there. Take your time and shake and bake a Tami at some point. Have a glass of whiskey and relax my friend.

O my ...it was a gem Pete. I feel so sorry for you mate, we know how passionate you build, paint and finish. I hope you get over it quickly and move on with a straightforward build to find back the fun.

Cheers fellas, these things happen. I'm just glad I had not put a lot of detail into the kit. I do have something arriving tomorrow to get me hopefully out of this damn rut!
