Sorry chaps....had to take a step back for a while due to various reasons and mojo had gone underground both modelling and social wise, gonna dip me toe back in the water slowly and re-ignite a bit of interest .......i`ve gone and lost the plot coz i never though in a million years i`d suddenly appear in this catergory ..........lets just say i`m giving it a go!!!
I`ve followed a lot of tips from you wingy guys and so far i think i`m holding up .......i have done the odd wingy in the past but this is a whole new venture for me, this kit had fantastic reviews and they ain`t kidding.........an absolute beauty to put together!!!, just needed a little bit of work on the top seam and front engine cowling and smooth the front edge of the wings down.......other than that...a fantastic kit.
I did start this a few weeks ago and just did little bits as and when i felt like it, my first proper attempt at an office.....with AM belts from Eduard and i swapped out the molded dials for Eduards etch dash and dials, a little bit of spray work and some weathering etc and i have this..
I have done a bit more on the fuse but i`ll show those another time....need to do some last bits.
More as and when.

And that my dear friend, is all topped off with an excellent looking office, that is good enough to be in a magazine Good to see you back fella, now take it nice and easy so as not to burn anything out again

Nice one, Boots. Good to see you back in action. Mojo can be a right b*** h sometimes. I think most of us suffer from it occasionally. But, like the lads say, itβs good to see you back.

Ian, Bert, Paul, Tommy, Joe and Steve....thank you very much fellas....`tis most appreciated As mentioned i have done a bit more, i opted for the post June 1940 Duck Egg Green (Sky) on the underside which ran for about 19 months before changing to the Light Blue.....i very nearly opted for the Night/White underwing scheme but chose this instead...and...excuse the rather lame effort of a free-hand camo, don`t normally do this sort of thing but i think the following stages will sort it out.
Cheers all and i will try and catch up with things going on around here

Bert,Paul,Tommy,Guybro,John and Joe........thanks fellas This is really about as far as i am with it...........the only additions since this is a gloss coat on the underside and all the tiny decals added underneath, i have a couple more i need to add which i forgot about and then i`ll seal them with another layer of gloss. There are no large roundels on the underside on this version i`m doing only on the upper wing and fuselage.....the nice thing is they have included a cut out decal to allow for an open door which is what i`ll be doing.
Might have to double click to see some of the tiny buggers..........there`s about 8 or 9 tiny letter `N` dotted here and there, it was like trying to get a large sized grain of sand the right way round!!
You`ll notice i`ve dry fitted the landing gear and what a brill idea Tam came up with......it`s all one part and just slots into the gap, this is then covererd by two seperete body panels and then the air scoop on top of those.....makes it nice and rigid and always in line, no lop-sided wheels on this one
