Thanks Boots, Ian and Paul. Not masterclass I'm afraid but happy with it so far chaps. I worked a little pinwash around the removable wing- and fuselage panels and also a touch of bare metal under the canopy was added with enamel Humbrols. And I discovered two partially uncut decals onto a couple of panellines . I softened them with Set after the cutting and then I pushed them dowñ without negative consequences for a change.😊👍

Thanks guys. The canopy was unmasked and now it's time for some more local canopy masking and tiny brush fiddlings.👍

The canopy is done (I think). I haven't made a photo, that's for tomorrow with hopefully bright daylight. I've also added just a small amount of dust with AK products. Lighter dust wash was used onto the dark colours, a little darker dust vica versa. I'm aiming to show all that fantastic wing and fuselage detail. Not difficult btw, I banged on the dust wash and simply wiped it off with a cotton cloth. In less than 10 seconds it all comes to life.

Thanks you Ian. As I said I microbrushpainted the canopy + fuselage (not done) worn paint. It was the first time I didn't go for Humbrol metals, the Vallejo ones were applied. I also took a jump in the deep by using Tamiya acrylics thinned with water to create the worn paint. Now I'm aging the fuselage a tad. The reference photos were a great help to do this. I still don't understand how these planes got this decrepit look this rapidly?!

Beautiful, Guy! With that pace of operations, it didn't take long for the paint to start coming off, especially around the crew access areas. And a few minor chips can turn into big flakes in no time.
