The Tiran is looking sharp, John! Would Micro Kristal Klear solve your Dornier window issues? Just dispense with the kit port hole pieces, entirely? I never used Kristal Klear, how does it work ? Hey, John. So Kristal Klear is essentially a white glue that dries to a glass-like sheen. It's great for small aircraft windows, portholes, periscopes, sights--etc. Take a toothpick and dip that in the Kristal Klear and essentially drag the blob from one side of the aperture to the other, with the toothpick. This will create a lens over the hole that will dry clear, just like a window. It's generally optimized for windows 1/4 inch wide and below.

That Tiran looks the nuts John The Tiran 5 and 6 are well ahead, the Miniart Tiran 4 is a little behind ( being a Miniart kit it's logical ... )

Today's work, not much done but I'm still happy with my work, here we go,
Panzer IV Ausf.C from Tristar, I picked J2 , not much difference between J1 and J2...
KP Su-7 BM , Warsaw Pact version, canopy masked and painted, some primer on the fuselage too.
Roden Kraz 214B , fenders and engine parts,
some cleaning up, but no problems so far,
Tiran 5 & 6 , Filter applied.
Panzer IV Ausf.B , filter applied on turret.
Flak, filter applied.
That's it for today. This weekend with F1 ( 2x Qualifying session, Sprint and Race), football... I'll try to get some bench time and not slack , maybe wake up at 08h00 and start bright and early at the bench... we'll see...

Yesterday I've worked a little on Tiran 6, cleaning up tires, working on MG and some more weathering on the hull.

Yellow/desert colours are not the easiest to work on with washes imo, you are doing a great job.

Not much done today, anyway here it is :
Tiran 5, some grime and exhaust dirt on the fender and exhaust.
KP Su-7 BM ( Warsaw Pact kit ) : Paint stage.. I will try to add the canopy and paint the other details on the fuselage ( green, steel mostly )
Decals & stencils will be next, a clear coat and the weathering. Wheels & fuel tanks will be added at the end... I tend to break / lose them so I'll try a different construction process... let's see how that goes.
Also this week I need to start painting Tiran 6 wheels .
I will do an effort to finish the Zil w/ Grad Rocket launcher, the Tiran's, the Mig-15 and KP Su-7 BM this November...tweezers crossed

I love the general grime of it. Thanks Tommy, so far I'm liking weathering the Tiran's. I don't want to over do it... but I still need some chipping and drybrush on some areas.

I think I'd go for a mixture of Vallejo steel + brown John, applied by sponge, very subtle. My two cents.
