My Grandfather served throughout WWII in the Royal Army Medical Corps He volunteered after the invasion of Poland as he thought his 1st. aid experience in the St.John's would be useful. The Army put him in the RAMC as a Corporal and he was due to be sent to France but Dunkirk meant that he stayed in the UK in a training establishment. In '44 , as a Staff Sergeant, he and his men were attached to a US combat unit and sent to Normandy on June 7th 1944. He stayed with them into Germany before moving to a British unit in Norway in late '45. I can't find a kit of the vehicles used with the US unit but I bet he had the occasional trip in the British 2-Ton like this Tamiya kit. After an hour I'm here More when I can.

Hopefully pick my ambulance up soon I could always get another one. Then we could have a three-some! A veritable “ménage a trios”!!! My wife asked me who I which of her friends I would like to have a threesome with, I said June and Jessica! Someone give me a like before I get deleted for too many sexual innuendos!!!!!!!

Thanks for the support and patience my friends Had the AB out so applied some Tamiya XF-58 and weathered with Buff. Also modified an RAF to look more like the late, great, HRH Elizabeth II or the Princess as she was then. Might use the kit driver too.

Between decorating, finishing my 1/72 aircraft and watching the D Day coverage, I made a bit of progress on the little ambulance. Just a bit of weathering in the cab using Citadel paints. Now it's the only thing on the bench it might move along a bit
