Thank you chaps! B) Moved onto decals. I went for the most colourful option, this is similar to the famous Princess Elizabeth picture and here's the question... That vehicle is very clean with hardly any wear and tear, to be expected I suppose as it's a publicly shot. Do I more or less leave my model as is and use the Elizabeth figure or do I add weathering and the RAMC driver... 'nuff natter, here's the pics!

Excellent stickerage Steve As for the choice, well it all depends on what kind of mood you're in. If you're not really ready for a long haul with fading, pigments, oils... repeat until satisfied, then go for Liz. If you are ready for some dirty fun, then go for the RAMC driver

I'll get my coat.

I'd go for a soft sandy colour misting from the airbrush, eventually with just a subtle touch of pigments. The sand colour enhances the green and vice versa. A stunner already.

You donβt want it looking too βnewβ, I reckon.
But definitely with young Elizabeth!

Thanks for the input fellas I've weathered the meat wagon up a bit, not that you can see it under my LED Still got the underside to do and some of that will creep onto the upper too so it should look better then. Here's my efforts at 1.48 figure painting, can't seem to get the skin tone right but it could be close enough? Onwards!
