Chaps I thank you all awesomely, your praise is keeping the motor running and that is what I need . I finished work early today, and went straight to the bench . I have attacked the vehicle with the following stuff, but don't ask what colours or medium everything was . Acrylics, oils, pigments, washes, paints, graphite powder, cotton buds, buffing brushes...... Anyway this it what it looks like now.... I think I like it

I like the looks of your Firefly Paul-bro. The dust and dirt, particularly on the horizontal parts of the tank, are looking nothing but stunning! The German helmet trophy is a brilliant touch with the camo.

That is a fantastic looking Firefly, Paul! Glad you hammered away at this and continued the build, despite the land mines that Dragon left for you.

Guy, Steve, Ian, muchly appreciated chaps . Today I added the last of the dusting, for this I used a grubby Tamiya mix I have and applied it per AB . This has also been added around lower edge of the turret and the turret ring. All that's needed now is the greasy staining around the tensioning gear at the rear It was then that I set-back with the heads for the figure ... this is now the fourth attempt at painting them . Paint stripped, newly primed and Revell Afrika Brown base coat. If this doesn't work then the figure will not be added .

Sherman dustifying : orsom. Don't be to hard on yourself when it comes to the figures Paul, you are a skilled figure painter, look again at your German Panzer crews with lovely camo patterns.
