Marco the torture I can see, is the fact that I am know where near your standard . They are all absolutely excellent and certainly nothing, to be ashamed of . Well done my friend I'm of to find an Italeri DUKW now, then I can show you how to build a mediocre turd from a good kit

You are fantastic friends! Thank you so much! JP, the LARC-V is a huge amphibian cargo "truck" that's used till today by US Navy and Marines. The V is his capacity of cargo (5 tons). He has two (much) bigger brothers: LARC-XV and the largest 4x4 vehicle ever built: LARC-LX or BARC. Gecko has two modern options of the LARC-V, both in sand color. Guy, I have no enough courage to do this with my friends! Paul, I don't know about where to find Italeri DUKWs, but I Love Kit has two models far better than Italians. One of them has a trailer. Mediocre? REALLY? C'mom, you're one of the best modelers I know. And here in MHO we have a bunch of great modelers! Thanks again my friends!

Wow Marco! I wish I could "destroy" my kits to this level of re-Marco-bly masterful quality! Maybe someday I'll be half as good as this!
I wish someone would release all those LARC vehicles in 1/72 scale!

Thanks a lot Mark! An BARC in 72th scale is a must!

All outstanding builds Marco . I think the grey of the LARC just has the edge for me.
I think there used to be a derelict BARC visible from the main road into Portsmouth a few years back. It was a wheeled monster!

Mr. Matthews, thanks a lot! In truth, the Vietnam era LARCs was bare aluminum. But I really don't like to work with metallic paints. So, I chose a grey tone to mimetize it. Isn't the best solution for sure, but I liked it in grey.
